thinking of so many different ways to change yourself to please that person.

but also scared to even try, for the fear of rejection is hard to hide.

asking what you did to deserve that kind of man.

why did he hurt you, what did you say..for him to ever treat you in that way.

not comprehending exactly why you’re crying this time.

could be the memories or could be the deeper scars inside.

just wanting it to go away and never come back...kinda like he did.

staring in the mirror instead of laying in bed.

looking at your body, face and hair.

feeling more ugly as you stare.

you put the makeup on and you didn't eat today, but that doesn’t change a single way you feel.
